Look beyond the first impression

An early concept can make the direction of a space easier to discuss. Alongside the overall mood, look at how rooms connect, where people move and what each area is intended to do.

A visualization communicates an idea. Materials, proportions and details still need to be checked against the actual site and the agreed project scope.

Separate preferences from requirements

It helps to say which elements are essential for daily use and which are visual preferences. That distinction gives the team clearer feedback when a layout or finish is revised.

Make feedback specific

Point to particular views, transitions or areas and describe what feels right or unresolved. Specific comments help turn a concept review into a useful next iteration.
